So we put a trailer hitc h on your trailer hitch!
That's a 2" receiver under the 1-1/4" receiver, on a FWD Mazda Tribute.

I once saw a Ford Escape with a 1-1/4 to 2 in adapter in a 2 to 1-1/4 adapter in a 2" hitch.

I’ve seen odd things like that because the ball mount didn’t go back far enough to give adequate clearance to the trailer tongue. Some people are just so keen to make what they have work... I would've just got a longer ball mount.

I’ve seen dual-hitch setups before, so people can run a trailer-hitch accessory like a bike rack, and still be able to tow a camper trailer. Or attach a receiver-mount winch for loading dead cars onto trailers.
This, however, just seems moronic. Perhaps there’s a utility trailer that sees regular use, and a bike rack for the 2" receiver. Just go with the 2"... It's tons more versatile.

The small one looked factory, and the big one underneath looked aftermarket.
